摘 要:中国第四纪红土地层研究60多年来取得了很大进展。本文从磁性地层、年代地层、生物地层、气候地层、同位素地层和旋回地层6个角度总结了中国红土地层的主要研究情况。Great achievements have been made in the study of the Quaternary red earth stratigraphy in southern China in the past sixty years. The research history shows that the discovery of palaeolith in the red bed of Baise Basin, Guangxi Province in 1975 is one of the most important events in the study of red earth stratigraphy. This discovery gave a new break--through to the study of red earth strahgraphy. The paper deals with six aspects from the past studies of red earth stratigraphy; magnetostratigraphy, chronostratigraphy, climatostratigraphy, bio-stratigraphy, isotope stratigraphy and cyclostratigraphy. Zhao Qiguo etc. believe that the variation of magnetic receptivity between the red earth layer and the yellow-brown sediment layer of Xuancheng Section can represent the past climate change, but Hu Xuefeng's opinions are just on the contrary. There are many disputes about the age of the red earth, and the majority of the red earth ages are inferred from the correlative geological ages. Correlation of the red earth with loess-paleosol sequence shows that each top-surface age of the six cycles of the red earth section in Anshu County, Zhanjiang City is 0.127MaB. P., 0.452MaB. P., 0.859MaB. P., 1.274MaB. P., 1.605MaB. P., 2.001 MaB.P. and 2.440MaB. P. respectively, corresponding to 0. 10MaB. P., 0.47MaB. P., 0.85MaB. P., 1.26MaB. P., 1.67MaB. P., 2.07MaB.P., and 2.48MaB. P. of loess--paleosol sequences in the Loess Plateau.
