摘　　要：交通运输现代化是国民经济现代化的重要组成部分和必要条件。文章在对新时期交通运输现代化内涵重新界定的基础上,分析了"十一五"时期中国交通运输现代化进程中出现的一些深层次的矛盾和问题,进而提出新时期加快发展中国现代化交通运输业的途径。Transportation modernization is an important part and necessary requirement of the national economy modernization. On the basis of redefinition of the connotation of transportation modernization in the new era, this paper analyses some deep-rooted contradictions and problems in the process of transportation modernization in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, and then puts forward the ways to accelerate the development of modernization transportation industry in our country.
