摘　　要：21世纪网络信息时代对现代高校图书馆馆员的社会角色提出了严峻的挑战,特别是文化大发展大繁荣的新形势也对现代高校图书馆馆员提出了更高更新的要求,社会信息环境的变化决定了现代高校图书馆馆员的社会角色:文化大发展大繁荣的践行者和传播者、信息资源建设者和管理者、信息资源导航员和信息提供者、信息资源用户的教育者和培训者。In twenty-first century, the era of network information on modem university librarians＇ social role posed grim challenge, especially the development and prosperity of culture in the new situation of modem university librarians has put forward higher and newer requirements.
