摘　　要：作为大众文化研究的一个重要组成部分,电视文化与当代美国小说紧密相关。从文化研究角度,以雷蒙德·卡佛的短篇小说集《当我们谈论爱情时我们在谈论什么》为例,分析卡佛小说中体现的电视文化,阐述其小说主题、叙述方法、语言特色如何反映电视文化对美国普通民众的影响。As an important part of popular culture studies,televisual culture is prevalently reflected in contemporary American fiction.From the perspective of culture study,this paper examines televisual culture in Carver’s What We Talk about When We Talk about Love,and probes into the influence of televisual culture on common Americans by the analysis of its theme,narrative method and linguistic features.
