摘　　要：介绍了一个在PowerPC架构上建立嵌入式Linux操作系统并构建RAID数据存储的应用实例。首先介绍了Power-PC架构体系及处理器芯片MPC8379E的主要特征,然后在包含此芯片的开发板MPC8379ERDB上利用LTIB开发环境进行嵌入式Linux系统的开发,主要包括编译环境开发、目标系统配置、调试环境建立、内核裁减与移植及系统引导模块U-BOOT修改等。嵌入式系统开发完毕后,在此基础上进行数据存储及组建RAID硬盘阵列的研究和测试,最后对普通读写方式和RAID 0读写方式进行了对比,证明了RAID技术的有效性。In this article we introduced an embedded Linux system based on PowerPC architecture as well as a data stor- age system using RAID technology. The main features of MPC8379E were introduced at first, and the pivotal technolo- gies were described in details in design and implementation of embedded Linux based on MPC8379ERDB within LTIB en- vironment, including cross development, configuration of target, modifying of U-boot, especially how to port the Linux kernel to the MPC8379E. And then reaserch and test of data storing and RAID technology was handled on this embedded system. At last experimental results show that read and write speed can be rised by RAID technology.
