摘　　要：文章对海南省高校图书馆特色数据库的层次分布、主题类型等进行了调查,分析了海南省高校图书馆特色数据库建设需要解决的一些问题,包括数据库的学科专业特色不鲜明、数据库建设规模小、开放度不够、资源加工深度不够、重复建设和存在知识产权问题等,并针对这些问题提出了改进对策。The article has analyzed some problems needed to be solved about the characteristic database construction at academic libraries in Hainan Province through the survey of its hierarchical distribution and subject types, such as the characteristic indistinctness of specialized subject, the small scale of database construction, the inadequacy of openness and processing depth, the redundant construction and existing intellectual property issues, etc. The measurement for the further development of characteristic database construction at academic libraries in Hainan Province has been provided according to these problems.
