摘　　要：平潭综合实验区的开发建设不仅是推动两岸关系和平发展的重大战略举措,而且对引领和带动海峡西岸经济区特色发展有着重要的战略意义。基于对平潭综合实验区开发建设现状与战略定位的分析,探讨了平潭综合实验区开发建设对海峡西岸经济区特色发展具有的先行先试突破口、科学发展先导区、发展新增长极、改革创新试验田等重要作用,并进一步提出了加快平潭综合实验区开发建设,推进海峡西岸经济区特色发展的若干建议。The development and construction of Pingtan comprehensive experimental zone is of great strategic significance not only in promoting peaceful development of the relation between two sides of the Taiwan Straits,but also in leading and driving the economic zone on the west side of the Straits′ characteristic development.Based on analysis of the Pingtan comprehensive experimental zone′s development situation and strategic positioning,it is held that the Pingtan comprehensive experimental zone plays an important role in the economic zone on the west side of the Straits′ characteristic development,such as the breakthrough of path-finding experiments,the pioneer zone of scientific development,the development of new growth pole,the experimental field of reformation and innovation.Meanwhile the countermeasures are proposed to speed up the development and construction of the Pingtan comprehensive experimental zone and promote the characteristic development of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits.
