摘　　要：21世纪是一个可持续发展的世纪,可持续发展为解决城市发展中出现的各种不和谐问题提供了新的思路,学者和城市规划者们也在实践中不断尝试、总结出了一系列可持续城市的建设模式和方法,其中最受人关注的是新城市主义思潮的产生。本文阐述了新城市主义价值观的基本理念和规划原则,明确了新城市主义社会价值观和空间价值观的内涵,最后对新城市主义价值观的理论和实践性进行了批判性的审视和展望。The 21st century is a century of sustainable development.Scholars and urban planners are constantly trying to practice and summed up a series of constructive models and methods to solve urban problems.The generation of new urbanism is a new approach to realize sustainable development.In this paper,we study the values of New Urbanism,and explain the planning principals.We explicitly propose the connotation of social ？？and spatial values of New Urbanism.On the end of this article,we make critically review and forecast of the theory and practice of the values of New Urbanism.
