摘　　要：通过对高校文献信息工作中现存弊端原因的分析,对系资料室独特功能和优势及其在现代信息环境中重要作用的论述,说明了系资料室在高校文献信息工作中的不可替代性和存在的必要性。There are several causes leading to the existing disadvantages of literature and information service in university. The department reference room has its special function and advantage and plays an important role at modem information en- viroment, and so it is necessary to exist and can' t be substituted.
