摘　　要：图书馆本质"虚构论"不仅在立论上缺乏逻辑依据,而且自身也具有明显的"虚构性";图书馆本质是一种客观存在,不能主观"建构"或"制造";对图书馆本质的探寻永远都只能"在路上",而不能真正"到达";后现代主义不是图书馆学理论的应然走向。Nihilism of library＇s essence not only is lack of logic basis,but also is provided with conspicuous character of nihilism;Library＇s essence as an objective being could not be ＂constructed＂ or ＂fabricated＂;Seeking library＇s essence could not ＂reach＂ the end,but only is ＂on the way＂ forever.In addition,the postmodernism is not the proper trend of library science theory.
