摘　　要：目的为了使编码员提高自身素质，更好地推行和使用 ＩＣＤ－ １０。方法采用回顾 ＩＣＤ－９推行经验和认真阅读ＩＣＤ－１０原著，领会其编码操作中的核心要素。结果使用ＩＣＤ－１０的基本功为：①汉语拼音能力；②分类知识和编码原则应用能力；③外语阅读能力；④阅读病历的能力；⑤医学知识水平。结论只要练好基本功，就能准确掌握和使用ＩＣＤ－１０。Objective To help coders to improve their own quality so as to better implement ICD-10. Methods Experience in implementing ICD-9 was reviewed and the key factors in operating the coding of ICD-10 were grasped by carefully studying the original work. Results The basic skills in using ICD-10 are: ①ability to use the Chinese phonetic alphabet; ②ability to grasp classification knowledge and coding principles; ③ability to read foreign literature; ④ability to read medical records; and ⑤level of medical knowledge. Conclusion ICD-10 can be accurately grasped and used once the basic skills are perfected.
