摘　　要：论述了厦门半个世纪以来,通过围海筑堤、填海造地等海岸工程,极大地改变了厦门海域环境结构,海域面积、纳潮量和水动力大幅减少,港湾出现淤积,湾口岸线侵蚀。为此,必须尽快扩大高集海堤的过水断面,恢复西海域生态平衡。The article discusses that through the shore projects of enclosing sea by banks, making land by filling sea and so on,there are dramatic changes in harbor environmental structure,cover of harbor area and capacity of tide volume,sharp decrease in water motive power,silt accumulation in harbor,as well as erosion of coastline in the past half century of Xiamen city. For all of these,quick action should be taken to widen the water-crossing section of Gaoji seawall to renew back ecological balance.
