摘　　要：环北部湾是壮、瑶、京、黎等少数民族聚居区,从历史上和现实上看,都是个重要的区域。作为沿海少数民族数量最多、人口最集中的地区,其具有沿海、沿边、沿江的区位优势,经济社会发展潜力巨大。应结合广西北部湾经济区、中国—东盟自由贸易区、中越"两廊一圈"、海南国际旅游岛等建设和2006年中央的"一号文件"这些大背景,用历史人类学、经济人类学、海洋人类学等方法对环北湾少数民族经济社会进行科学、系统的田野调查研究。This paper studies the combination of Beibu Gulf Rim with the great background of the construction of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi;the establishmeut of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area; the construction of China-Vietnam ＂Two Corridors and One Circle＂, the building of HaiNan International Tourism Island and the ＂＇First Document＂ which sighed by the central in 2006-Some Opinions of CPC and the State Council on promoting the consrmc.tiglxl of socialist new countryside, and also use the methods of Historical Anthropology,Economic Anthropology, Marine Anthropology to give a scientific and systematic field investigation research to the economy, as well as the socieW of Beibu Gulf Rim Minorities
