摘　　要：以2011年全国大学生数学建模竞赛的A题(重金属污染问题)及2011年全国研究生数学建模竞赛的C题(小麦发育后期茎秆特征和抗倒性问题)为例,运用Matlab统计工具箱中多元统计分析函数进行了多元统计分析,从而显示出多元统计分析在数学建模中的独特优势.Selected the title A（heavy metal pollution） of the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling and the title C（the wheat late development stalk characteristics and lodging resistance） of the National Post-Graduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling in 2011 as examples,the multivariate statistics analysis functions in Matlab statistical toolbox were applied to the sample data,the unique advantages of multivariate statistical analysis in mathematical modeling were shown.
