摘　　要：新兴宗教运动是近半个世纪以来西方文化生活中的一个重要现象。本文从定义、兴起、特征、信仰、组织结构、领袖、成败、科学、皈依原因及世俗化十个方面对相关社会学研究的英文文献进行总结和梳理,并指出现有研究存在的一些不足之处。New Religious Movement is an important phenomenon in Western cultural life in the last 50 years. The paper gives a review and evaluation of the English literature of sociological studies on NRMs in the following ten aspects: definition, rise, features, faiths, organizational structure, leadership, success or failure, science, reasons of conversion and secularization.
