摘 要:无线接入网(RAN)是移动运营商赖以生存的重要资产,如今移动运营商正面临着激烈的竞争环境,盈利能力日趋削弱,与此同时,移动互联网业务的流量迅速上升,用于建设、运营、升级无线接入网的支出不断增加。运营商必须寻找低成本为用户提供无线业务的方法。C-RAN技术的出现能有效解决种种问题。本文将针对C-RAN技术架构、优点、演进策略及现阶段应用情况等进行探讨分析。RAN is the important capital for the survival of the operator. Nowadays it is faced with highly competitive environment whereas its earning power is getting weaker. Meanwhile, the traffic of the mobile Internet service rises rapidly. Therefore, the expenditure used to construct, operate and update RAN has been increasing constantly. The operator must work out the way to provide wireless service with low cost for customers. With the appearance of C-RAN, the effective solutions to different problems will become available. This thesis is devoted to the exploration and analysis of C-RAN and its technical framework, advantages, strategies for evolvement as well as improvement, and its application situation at present, etc.
