摘　　要：北京奥运会成功举办以后,建设体育强国已经成体育界的最强音,但是如何建设体育强国,还缺少从战略高度的讨论。以建设体育强国为基本论域,从体育在国家发展中的角色定位、体育强国作为战略目标的合理性辨析和竞技体育与群众体育的关系判断三方面探讨了建设体育强国进行战略选择的理论前提。China has successfully hosted the Beijing Olympic Games.The strategic researches into how to build China into a sports power must take into account the roles of sports in the national development,the rela tion between competitive sports and sports for all,and building the nation into sports power as national strategy.
