美国大学独立研究课及其对创新人才培养的启示

摘　　要：创新人才是美国研究型大学的培养目标。独立研究课是专门为优秀本科生开设的,旨在鼓励他们在教师指导下通过具有原创性和挑战性的研究工作,进一步发展自主探究精神,提高科研技能和创新能力。本文以美国密歇根州立大学电气与计算机工程系的独立研究课为例,介绍了独立研究课的教学目标、过程管理、研究内容、考核方式,探讨了独立研究课对我国高校创新人才培养的启示。Innovative talent is the training course is specially initiated for the excellent und objective of American research universities. Independent study ergraduates, whose purpose is to encourage them to complete the original and challenging research activities supervised by teachers, to further develop the spirit of self- exploration, as well as to improve the skills in scientific research and the innovative ability. In the paper, the teaching objective, process management, research content, assessment methods of independent study course are introduced by taking the independent study course of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineer- ing in Michigan State University of America as an example. Moreover, the enlightenment of independent study course to train innovative talents in China~ colleges and universities is exolored.
