摘　　要：伴随着小城镇的迅速发展,小城镇研究逐渐成为了国内学术界的热点。从城市化的角度来看,有关小城镇的研究可以分为外部联系和内部结构两部分,其中小城镇的外部联系研究主要涉及小城镇的地位问题,包括城市化的路径选择、小城镇与大城市的关系、小城镇与乡村地区的关系三部分,这是小城镇研究的初级阶段。小城镇的内部结构研究主要是关于小城镇发展的问题,涉及小城镇的模式类型、发展机制、空间分层、规划与建设等四个方面,这是小城镇研究的高级阶段。回顾并分析近年来我国城市化进程中的小城镇研究成果,可以为我们当前城市化和小城镇的发展提供经验与借鉴。With the small towns＇ rapid development,studies on small towns gradually become hot in the domestic academic circle.From the point of view of urbanization,the studies on small towns can be divided into external connections and internal structure.The external connection mainly involves urbanization＇s path-choosing,relationship between small towns and large cities,and relationship between small towns and rural areas.The internal structure is primarily concerned with small towns＇ modes and types,development＇s mechanism,spatial delaminating,planning and construction.By reviewing and analyzing the studies of small towns in the process of urbanization from the 1978 Reform,experience and revelation can be obtained for contemporary urbanization and small towns＇ development.
