摘　　要：严复是中国近代著名的启蒙思想家和教育家。在其教育思想中,他以＂普及＂为宗旨,把提升国民素质作为教育的根本目标;以＂有用＂为核心,把德、智、体并重作为教育的主要内容;以＂体制＂为突破,把阶梯式教学和专科人才培养作为教育的基本模式。Yanfu was a famous enlightening thinker and educator. In his educational opinion, to universalize education and improve the national quality were the sole purpose;virtue, intelligence and physical training were main content;stepping ed- ucation and professional talent cultivation were basic educational mode.
