摘　　要：麦克尤恩的小说《心理之城》以洛杉矶为背景,通过对四个人物的不同层级、不同侧面的心理现象的精准刻画,揭示出荒原后都市的文化状貌和人性生态。通过对荒原后都市状貌的源流及表征的探讨,以及荒原后都市中人性堕落、情感扭曲等现象的分析,既能使人们深刻认知当代西方都市文化的多重生存困境,也能引发对当代都市文化重新建构的深入思考,同时对我国的都市文化建设起到一定的借鉴作用。Abstract： Ian McEwan takes Los Angeles as its background in Psychopolis. In this novel, he portrays precisdy the abnormal psychological phenomena of four figures from various angles and thus unfolds truthfully the perverted humanity in the post-wasteland city. By discussing the landscape and characterization of this city and analyzing the depravi- ty of human nature and emotional distortions in it, a deep understanding of the multi-existential plights in the contempo- rary cosmopolitan is achieved; the reconstruction of urban culture is also put forward; and finally suggestions on China＇ s urban cultural construction are provided.
