Objective To explore the clinical curative effect of salvianolate on patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP) and its influence on the levesl of angiotensin- Ⅱ ( Ang Ⅱ ), uric acid (UA) and vascular endothelial growth factor- A(VEGF-A) in blood. Methods Sixty cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases of each. The control group was given conventional anti-angina treatment, while the intervention group based on the control group was added salvianolate injection. The clinical efficacy, levels of Ang 1I , UA, VEGF-A in blood, improvement situation of ECG, as well as the situation of adverse drug reaction(ADR) were observed. Results The clinical efficacy, levels of Ang Ⅱ , UA, as well as the improvement situation of ECG of the treatment group were respectively better than those of the control group (P 〈 0.05 ). But the levels of VEGF-A in the blood before and after treatment were no significant difference ( P 〉 0.05 ). Andserious ADR didn' t happen in the both groups. Conclusion Salvianolate can significantly ameliorate the symptoms and ECG ST-T segment of patients with UA, which can also significantly decrease the levels of Ang Ⅱ and UA. But it has no significant effect on the level of VEGF-A in the blood.
