浅谈国家公派出国人员之中西方文化课课堂的比较

摘　　要：本文分析了对国家公派出国留学人员开设中西方文化课的必要性和可行性。随着中国经济的崛起,对外传播中国文化、打造良好的国际形象、提升中国的软实力日益重要,对此,国家公派出国留学人员责无旁贷。此外,和外国人进行有效交流,了解西方文化是必备条件。中西方文化课作为留基委考试科目的有效辅助课程,为广大学员提供了了解中西方文化知识、练习用英语表达相关思想的良好平台。The essay argues that it＇s necessary and feasible for the government-sponsored scholars going abroad to have the subject of Chinese culture and western culture. As Chinese economy is becoming more and more influential in the world, importance should be attached to spreading Chinese culture, creating good international image and enhancing Chinese soft power, and the government-sponsored scholars are responsible for the mentioned above. Meanwhile it is a prerequisite for them to be furnished with western culture so as to achieve effective communication with foreigners. As an effective aiding subject for other exam-orien- ted subjects, the course of Chinese culture and western culture provides a good stage for scholars to acquire knowledge of both Chinese culture and western culture as well as to prac- tice their spoken English.
