摘　　要：湖南红十字医院是民国时期湖南红十字事业的主体力量之一,它在医疗救助、卫生普及等方面开展的许多活动极大地促进了湖南医疗卫生事业的发展,有效地缓解了战乱灾荒期间的人道危机,推动了民国时期湖南慈善事业的进步,对当前我国慈善及医疗事业的健康发展也有启发作用。Hunan Red Cross Hospital was a main power of the Red Cross Movement in Hunan during the Republic of China,which played an important role in medical treatment relief,health literacy,and so on.These social activities promoted the development of Hunan＇s medical and health undertakings,eased humanitarian crisis during the period of famine and war,promoted the development of philanthropy during the period of the Republic of China.At the same time,the hospital＇s development and its activities has a lot of instructive significance to China＇s current medical treatment and philanthropy.
