摘　　要：地方院校要实现快速健康发展,首先要明确自身办学定位,地方院校的办学定位应该体现区域经济支柱产业发展的需要,体现区域经济新兴产业的发展方向,体现地方社会经济发展对人才素质的综合要求。钦州学院作为广西沿海唯一一所公立本科高等院校,正凭借广西北部湾经济区开放开发的东风,以筹建北部湾大学和迎接本科教学工作合格评估为契机,积极探索符合自身定位的发展道路,立足服务地方,突出办学特色,培养适应经济社会发展需要的应用型高级专门人才。School-running Orientation is essential for local colleges.It should embody the needs of the development of the local pillar industries,reflect the needs of the approach of the new industry,and meet the comprehensive requirements for talent quality demanded by the local society and economy developments.Qinzhou University,as the only one public undergraduate university,are now exploring a suitable running orientation to foster advanced talents for local economy and society development with chances of the founding of the Beibu Gulf University and the 4-year College Teaching Evaluation under the background of the Guangxi Beigu Gulf Economy Development.
