张謇、罗振玉的结交与断交

摘　　要：1897年张謇、罗振玉出于对"农学"的共同兴趣结缘于上海,此后他们曾在上海农学会的创立、江苏新式教育的筹办及通州师范学校建校过程中有过较为密切的友好往来和合作,但这种友谊在1906年年初却骤然而止。两人的绝交固然与其性格及处世风格的差异有一定关联,但主要原因还是力促早日实现立宪的张謇与忌惮政治革新的罗振玉在政见上存在着较为严重的分歧。罗继祖先生在《我的祖父罗振玉》一书中对张謇的过度指责和推测之辞,失之客观,有偏袒之疑。In the year of 1897, ZHANG Jian and LUO Zhen-yu became acquaintances out of their common interests in agriculture. After that, they conducted communications and cooperation in the foundation of Shanghai Agricultural Association, the preparation of new model education in Jiangsu Province, and the establishment of Tongzhou Normal SchooL. However, their friendship broke off in 1906. The breaking-off came out of their different dispositions and life styles, but the primary cause was the discrepancies in political viewpoints between them. Mr. LUO Ji-zu shows biased reproaches and presumptions in his book, My Grandfather LUO Zhen-yu, which is both partial and full of prejudices.
