摘　　要：条螟属兼性滞育昆虫，以幼虫滞育和休眠两种方式越冬。滞育幼虫越冬后不解除滞育而直接进入越夏，这是条螟的重要生物学特性．在湖南，条螟的发生分为春化型和秋化型，年发生１～２代，田间形成两个为害高峰。Proceras venosatus is a concurrently diapause insect and lives through the winter in larva diapause and dormancy. The diapause-larva Which has overwintered lives through the summer immediately without relieving diapause. This is an important biological character of Proceras venosatus The occurrence of Proceras venosatus is divided into. spring-occurring and autumn- occurring type. Proceras venosatus has one or two generations each year and there are two peaks of damage to crops in fields in Hunan.
