摘　　要：dimethylamino)phenyl]ethenyl pyridine N-oxide was synthesized . Electrochemical properties of this new hemicyanine dye were studied by means of cyclic voltammetry and in situ spectrochemistry. The result shows that the hemicyanine dye has electrochemical characteristics. In this paper, we report the determination of the reductive peaks.dimethylamino)phenyl]ethenyl pyridine N-oxide was synthesized .
