摘　　要：《海游记》是一部清代改革小说,同时又是一部具有海岛地域背景的海洋文学作品。它彻底颠覆了秦汉时期追求的海上仙山、唐宋时期海客漂流海岛奇遇、明代《西游记》海洋情结等海岛形象的奇幻模式。通过对海外岛屿社会的描写,展示了一幅与现实相似的社会画卷。作者笔下的海外没有美好的仙境,也没有理想的社会。作者将在现实生活中的不满投射到《海游记》的文本创作中,体现了他对天朝现实的失望,对社会改革、社会进步的向往。Journey to the Sea is both a revolutionary novel and a marine literary work with sea as its background of Qing Dynasty.It totally overturns the traditional sea island image patterns which are characterized by fairy mountains in the sea pursued by people described in the literary works of Qing and Han dynasties,travelers＇ fortuitous meetings on the island in that of Tang and Song Dynasties and marine complex influenced by Journey to the West in that of Ming Dynasty.Through the description of the society of the island in Journey to the Sea,a social picture similar to the reality is revealed.Neither a fairy world nor an ideal society has ever appeared in the novel.Yet words in the novel are filled with the author＇s dissatisfaction to the real society.What＇s more,it reflects his disappointment to the government and the society and his yearning for social revolution and development.
