摘　　要：随着计算机技术和网络技术的飞速发展,传统的图书编目工作已难以满足信息环境和社会需求,基于计算机网络的图书编目工作已在各级、各类图书馆中普及开来,探讨了编目工作如何适应全新的工作环境以及对编目员提出职业技术技能要求。With the rapid development of computer science and network technology,traditional cataloging in the library can no longer satisfy the demanding needs of the contemporary informational and social environments.As a result,cataloging based on computer network has been universally utilized in libraries at all levels and of all kinds.This article discusses the process in which cataloging adapts to the brand new working environment and the professional skills and techniques it demands from the library cataloguers.
