《马氏文通》的“其余连字”问题

摘　　要：《马氏文通》的"其余连字"有"用以较量者"和"用以递进者"两小类。由于《马氏文通》是在同一章节内先论说"推拓连字"后论说"其余连字"的,所以100多年来,它们总是被误认为"推拓连字"的次类。虽然学者们也看出了这些连字跟"推拓连字"有本质的区别,但最终还是止步于批评《马氏文通》"推拓连字"收字范围"失之过宽"上面,没有认识到它们是"推拓连字"之外的两小类连字。The remaining conjunctions in Ma＇s Grammar（Mashi Wentong） can be divided into two subcategories： ＂for the contest＂ and ＂for the progressive＂.Because the ＂extension conjunction＂ is analyzed before the ＂remaining conjunction＂ in Ma＇s Grammar,for over 100 years,the ＂remaining conjunction＂ are always mistaken for a subcategory of the ＂extension conjunction＂.Although scholars conclude that there exist essential differences between the ＂remaining conjunction＂ and ＂extension conjunction＂,they stop short of realizing that ＂remaining conjunction＂ is not in the category of ＂extension conjunction＂
