摘　　要：作为中国现代文学史第一部同性恋小说,白先勇小说《孽子》从刚诞生之时的普遍沉默到后来两岸三地甚至世界各地的热门效应,跟读者接受的变化密不可分。主要表现为:作品本身不断被发掘的"潜藏意义"、读者期待视野的变化、社会婚恋观念的发展以及文学传播方式的改变。The thesis presents the theme of gay through Bai Xianyong＇s novel Crystal Boys,which is the first fiction to discuss the theme of gay in the history of modern Chinese literature and it becomes more and more popular in recent years.Such are the causes of Crystal Boys fever： the excavation of the hidden meaning,changes of the readers＇ acceptance,development of the concept of marriage and changes of mode of transmission etc.
