百年吴趼人研究的回顾与评价

摘　　要：任百强《我佛山人评传》等21世纪新成果终于将吴氏三千年世家的传承图谱完整地联结起来,填补了国内外关于吴趼人研究的一项空白。郑振铎、阿英、刘大杰、任百强等从1956～2010年耗时半个多世纪校正了鲁迅对清末谴责小说的贬低。王国伟的《吴趼人小说研究》,可谓是对吴趼人创作的各类小说比较系统化研究的一个新收获。任百强于2010年出版的煌煌大作《我佛山人评传》百年来有关"晚清新小说主将之一"的吴趼人研究之集大成者,除了对吴氏创作的各个方面详加论述外,对吴趼人的世家、生平、众多谜团做出令人折服的实证考辨、对比分析、假设推导、逐个否定。《我佛山人评传》在研究方法上提供给学界的启示有如下七个方面:其一,采用微观史学方法,以小见大、显微知着;其二,注重人物心灵的探寻;其三,重视人物身体器官的文化象征意义;其四,注重细节的放大;其五,注重叙事,借用传记、说书、话本小说之类讲故事的笔法;其六,借用了英国政治比较概念史的写作方法;其七,超越名利、学术归宗。Ren Baiqiang＇s academic works biography criticism of Wu Jianren and other new books in the 21th century has filled the blank about Wu Jianren＇s studies in domestic and overseas,which has completely been linked the Wu Family heritage maps in three thousand years.Zheng Zhenduo,An Ying,Liu Dajie,Ren Baiqiang,etc.,these scholars have cost half one hundred years from 1956-2010 to redress Lu Xun＇s error about how to comment the condemnation novels in late Qing Dynasty.Wang Guowei＇s Studies of Wu Jianren＇s Novel is a new achievement to systematic studies on Wu Jianren＇s Novel.But Ren Baiqiang＇s biography criticism of Wu Jianren is the best and completed academic work in ＂new novels mainly generated in late Qing Dynasty＂.Except from Wu Jianren＇s all aspects of creation,the book analyzed Wu Jianren＇s Family history of three thousand years,all his life,a lots of doubtful cases,then drew a convincing conclusion.The book biography criticism of Wu Jianren＇s academic values are the following seven hands： a） micro-history methods： appearing big fields from small place;b） approaching figure＇s soul;c） paying attention to symbol meaning of physical organs on people body;d） enlarging details;e） adopting methods of telling stories;f） adopt political comparative concept history writing means;g） beyond the fame and fortune,focusing on academic.
