摘　　要：美国是个有边界的国家 ,又是一个无边界的国家。解释这个极其特殊的国际政治现象 ,需要对美国的扩张历史作深入的考察。以此为背景 ,我们不但可以确切了解美国霸权主义的生成逻辑 ,还可以从更深层次上了解到美国对中国外交政策的原初动因。The United states of America is a country with boundaries on the contrary, We can say it is also a country without boundaries. To interpret this extramly special international phenomenon requires the deep exploration of American history of expansion with it. We can not only exactly know the process of its hegemonism but also the original reason for its foreign policy to China.
