含联苯基和亚胺基热致性聚酯液晶的合成与表征

摘  要:以N,N′-二(ω-羟乙基)苯均四甲酰二亚胺(BHDI)、对苯二甲酰氯(TPC)、4,4′-二(β-羟己氧基)联苯(BP6)为单体,通过改变BHDI和BP6的物质的量比,制备了三种主链上同时含有联苯基和亚胺基的聚酯液晶(PBHT)。采用傅里叶红外光谱(FT-IR)、差示扫描量热分析仪(DSC)、偏光显微镜(POM)、广角X射线衍射(WAXD)及热重分析(TGA)等手段对聚合物结构及性能进行表征。结果表明,当BP6和BHDI物质的量比为4∶3时,聚酯液晶(PBHT)的液晶区间最宽,为116℃-190℃;该类液晶在液晶态温度区间呈现出向列型液晶丝状织构,WAXD分析显示为半结晶性聚合物;随着BHDI含量的增大,液晶聚酯热性能有所提高。Three kinds of liquid crystalline polyester (PBHT) containing biphenylnate and imide units were synthesized by polyaddition reaction of 4,4'-bis- (6-hydroxyhexoxy) biphenyl (BP6) with terephthaloy chloride(TPC) and N, N'-bis (2-hydroxyhexyl) dicarboxyimide (BHDI) through changing the molar ratio of BP6 and BHDI. PBHTs were characteristied by using infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry (D S C), polarized light microscopy (POM), X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and thermogravimetric analyse(TGA). The results show that the type of PBHT has the most extensive liquid crystalline range for 116 *C -190 *(2, when molar ratio of BP6 and BHDI is 4 : 3. All of the liquid crystalline polyester exhibit thermotropic nematic liquid crystalline textures at the liquid crystalline temperature range. WAXD analysis shows that PBHTs is the semi-crystalline polymers. The TGA observation confirms that the thermal performance of PBHT can be improved much by adding imide units.
