摘　　要：进入新世纪,面对高等教育改革和发展的新形势、新任务,如何进一步完善校长负责制是新时期我国教育现代化建设的重要方面。通过我国高校发展体制的发展过程可以发现,校长负责制是具有鲜明中国特色的领导机制。在当前形势下,必须明确这一制度的关键问题所在,并在此基础上进一步提高党委的决策水平,提高以校长为首的行政系统的负责能力,在运行机制上进一步探索创新途径,充分发挥体制的整体合力。Entering the new century, facing the higher education reform and development in the new situation and new tasks ,how to perfect the principal accountability system of our country in the new period education modernization is an important aspect of the construction.Through the development of our country college system evolution process can be found that the principal responsibility system with full of leadership mechanism of Chinese characteristics.In the current situation ,we must make the key issues clear, and on this basis to improve the party＇s decision-making level and decision-making level,to improve the administrative system headed by responsible capacity, to explore the innovation way and give full play to the whole power system on the aspect of operation mechanism.
