摘　　要：文章阐述了绿色经济概念的由来,介绍了世界主要国家推动绿色经济的行动,探讨了林业在绿色经济发展中的地位和作用。认为,21世纪将成为绿色经济发展时代。林业与绿色经济发展联系紧密,是国际社会公认的,对绿色经济发展具有战略支撑作用的产业。在绿色经济发展引领下,林业发展面临难得的历史机遇,也将面对艰巨的挑战。The paper explains the concept and process of green economy, the major countries in the world of action to promote a green economy and to explore the role of forestry in the development of green economy.It holds that the 21st century will be the era of green economy development. Forestry is closely related to green economy, and is considered world widely a strategic supporting industry for green economy. With the development of green econo- my, forestry will face rare historical opportunities and formidable challenges.
