近代日本吞并琉球考

摘　　要：近代以来,世界格局发生了很大的变化,但是琉球国社会的发展,依然一成不变,遵循过去的老路,未能及时调整对外的政策,终究在外敌入侵的面前,在失去强大的政治依附力量的劣势下,为日本所吞并。文章从明治维新的冲击、强制推行置县处分、琉球复兴运动的挫折、日本对琉球的控制等4个历史事件来考证近代日本吞并琉球的过程,对近代琉球国的灭亡做出客观的阐释。Although great changes took place in the world lattice in modem times, Ryukyu＇s social development remained still and unchanged. The country followed its old ways and failed to timely adjust its foreign policy. Under the invasion of Japan and with the inferiority of losing the powerful political attachment power, Ryukyu was eventually annexed by Japan. This article attempts to find out evidence of the annexation of Ryukyu by Japan from 4 historical incidents including the impact of Meiji Restoration, enforced prefecture/county division, frustrated Ryukyu revival movement and Japan＇s control of Ryukyu to present an objective explanation of the downfall of Ryukyu country.
