摘　　要：湖南戏曲曾有过辉煌的历史,但1980年代后期以来便每况愈下,其生存现状颇为困窘,不少剧种只有1-2个国营或集体制剧团或民间业余剧团在支撑,大多数剧团名存实亡;演出市场不断萎缩;演员年龄老化,后继乏人;没有新的观众群出现。产生、形成、发展于农耕文明的戏曲难以适应现代商品经济社会的发展,这是湖南戏曲衰落的根本原因;此外,城镇化运动的兴起,多元化娱乐方式的冲击也加剧了湖南戏曲的衰落。Hunan opera have had very glorious history, however; it＇ s survival status is in a difficult situation since the late 1980. We can analyze the situation from the following several aspects, such as： many opera rely on state - run ones. or amateur troupe ; most of the theatre exist with name only ; the market of the performance is at- rophy, the actor is ageing; Hunan drama lacks new audience. The root cause is that drama originated in and de- veloped from agricultural civilization, it can not adapt to society of commodity economy. In addition, the urbaniza- tion movement and the shock of a plurality of entertainment accelerate the drama decline.
