摘　　要：首先介绍了3GPP的多媒体广播和多播业务(MBMS)标准。借助于MBMS,在蜂窝网络中引入了广播和多播能力。而后,论述了MBMS在3GPP后续版本中的演进,重点关注演进的体系结构和MBSFN的概念,最后给出了结论。In this article, the Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service （MBMS） as standardized in 3GPP is presented first. With MBMS,broadcast and muhicast capabilities are introduced into cellular networks. Then,its evolutions in 3GPP following releases are discussed, focusing on the evolved ar- chitecture and MBSFN concepts. Finally, the conclusion is given.
