摘　　要：After studying Shakespeare's works,readers will find disguise usually plays an important role in Shakespeare's comedies.From a realistic point of view,cross-dressing reveals the difference between male and female in such a way that the temporary exchange of sex roles is a challenge to the strength of normality and the teleology of event.On the other hand,disguise offers a chance to women to subvert their social status.By disguising as men,women have been set free to do what men are always allowed to do in the patriarchal society.After studying Shakespeare＇s works, readers will find disguise usually plays an important role in Shakespeare＇s comedies.
