摘  要:In neutron rich even carbon isotopes, a large quenching of the electric quadrupole (E2) transitions between 2+1 states and ground states has reported, while in the proton rich side, the enhanced E2 transitions are observed. Besides the E2 abnormality in these isotopes, the neutron transitionIn neutron rich even carbon isotopes, a large quenching of the electric quadrupole (E2) transitions between 2+1 states and ground states has reported, while in the proton rich side, the enhanced E2 transitions are observed. Besides the E2 abnormality in these isotopes, the neutron transition matrix elements, which were obtained from hadron scattering, have been found largely enhanced comparing with the standard shell model predictions. The microscopic core polarization effects studied by the microscopic particle-vibration model are used to calculate the E2 transition matrix elements in carbon isotopes. The experimental data are better reproduced with microscopic polarization effects comparing with standard shell model calculations.
