摘 要:本研究运用屏幕录像、译作分析、问卷调查、电话访谈的方法,调查了32名中国译者翻译过程中使用的策略类型和高、中、低分组的表现差异。研究发现:1)译者使用了7类翻译策略;2)在运用去桎化和成就策略方面,高、中、低分组的能力依次降低;3)高、中分组善于、较善于采取"容忍歧义-协商词库-回复再定"方式去除歧义,低分组则不善于;4)高、中分组表现出句法加工优先于语义加工的趋势,而低分组则相反;5)高、中分组善于、较善于以篇句,而低分组则以词句作为注意单位,高、中分组善于、较善于以清晰的,而低分组则以含混的命题句作为转换单位;6)高、中、低分组表现出的即时监控和延时监控的强度和数量依次降低;7)高分组使用词典为证实猜义,且善用语境判断词义,而中、低分组则为查取词义。本研究的发现有助于推进描述翻译学的发展,也能为翻译教学提供启示。This paper investigates 32 Chinese subjects' process-based translation strategies and the disparities displayed in using them.The research,conducted by means of Camtasia recording,product analysis,questionnaire and telephone interview,concludes with the following findings:1) Seven types of strategies are employed;2) Regarding deverbalization and achievement strategies,their mastery declines from high-score group(HSG) to medium-score group(MSG) and low-score group(LSG);3) HSG is quite,and MSG fairly,prone to solve ambiguity by way of "tolerance-negotiation-regression",while LSG barely;4) HSG and MSG tend to put syntactic processing above semantic processing,while LSG to the contrary;5) HSG is quite,and MSG fairly,prone to use text and sentence as attention unit and clear proposition as transfer unit,while LSG sentence and word,and confusing proposition respectively;6) The intensity and quantity of real-time and post-time monitorings decrease along the cline of HSG,MSG and LSG;7) The purpose of HSG to use dictionaries is to confirm meaning guessing while that of MSG and LSG is to consult.The research can not only substantiate descriptive translation studies but also throw light on translation teaching.
