摘　　要：界定和凝练大学科学精神的内涵是研究大学文化的重要方面,也是建设符合时代进步要求的大学文化的前提。大学科学精神是科学的自由精神在大学的具象和表征,是大学师生员工共同崇尚的尊重事实、追求真理的思维方式和价值理念。对大学科学精神的倡导由来已久,其源于整个国家和社会对科学精神的期盼。时至今日,大学身负文化传承和创新的重任,在科技强国和人才强国战略中具有重要作用。因此塑造科学精神在大学尤为重要。The definition and extraction of the connotation of university scientific spirit is important for the study on coUege and university culture and is essential for the construction of college and university culture in llne with the requirement of social progress. The scientific spirit of university is the embodiment and representation of free spirit in colleges and universities, is the way of thinking and the value advocated by teachers and students to respect and seek for truth. University scientific spirit has long been advocated, which is attributed to the expectation for scientific spirit throughout the whole country. Today, colleges and universities bear great responsibilities of cultural inheritance and innovation, and play an important role in the strategy of strengthening nation with science and technology and with talents ; therefore, shaping scientific spirit in colleges and universities is of prime importance.
