摘　　要：主要讨论了一种利用 ３Ｃｏｍ公司的网管软件Ｔｒａｎｓｃｅｎｄ Ｅｎｔｅｒｐｒｉｓｅ Ｍａｎａｇｅｒｆｏｒ Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ确定子网内计算机ＭＡＣ物理位置的方法。介绍了问题的背景，对该网管软件特点给出了评价，介绍了如何利用该网管软件对计算机进行定位，并给出了该方法使用的条件。We aim at a way to locate any computer's physical position in a LAN according to its IP or MAC by means of the 3Com's network management software-Transcend Enterprise Manager for Windows 6.0. We introduce the background of the problem, give a general evaluation to the software function, point out its defect in the computer location, then describe how we search a computer in a LAN by using the tool, and finally give an explanation for its using condition.
