Objective To investigate the alteration of NK cells from human peripheral blood of the patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion(URSA) in pregnancy. Methods Analyzed the clinical data of URSA patients in our hospital from 2008 to 2011.All patients were divided into 4 groups. URSA inevitable abortion group including 39 cases inevitable abortion in early pregnancy,URSA pregnancy group including 22 cases,31 cases of normal early pregnancy group and 25 cases of normal nonpregnant group. Fluorescence flow cytometry was used to measure the frequency of immunocytes from human peripheral blood of NK cells. Results Comparing of URSA pregnancy group and normal early pregnancy group, the NK cells was also increased and presented statistical significance (P〈0.05).When compared with the normal nonpregnant group, the ratio of NK cells were significantly increased after aborted at lth,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th month (P〈0.05). Conclusion The occurrence of URSA might be associated with enhancement of cellular immune kiUing function mediated by NK ceils. The percentage of NK ceils (12%)from human peripheral blood can be used as an acute index in monitoring URSA patients.
