摘　　要：安东尼.特罗洛普在小说《如今世道》中细致入微地展现了金钱和贪欲对人们爱情婚姻道德观的影响以及由此产生的后果。本文对《如今世道》中两个主要女性人物的婚恋选择作了一番伦理解读。通过分析这两位女性在具体的伦理困境中所表现出来的道德选择,揭示了在拜金主义时代婚姻是财产的交易,这两个女性找不到真爱的原因归根结蒂是金钱至上的价值观以及人性中的贪欲。论文指出,特罗洛普倡导的是回归基督教传统伦理"禁欲"的道德原则,在作品中体现了人们只有摒弃欲望才能得到真正幸福的伦理观。In the novel The Way We Live Now, Anthony Trollope elaborates the influence of money and of greed on people＇ s love concept and its consequences. The article analyzes the ethical options of two main female characters in marriage. By discussing the ethical options in their particular ethical dilemmas, the article points out that marriage involves the transfer of properties and is ruined by materialism and the greed of human nature in the Mammon＇ s age. The article shows Trollope＇ s advocating returning to the old stoic Christian ethical tradition. He expresses his ethics in the novel, that is, one can gain true happiness only by getting rid of greed.
