摘　　要：高校为地方发展提供的人力资源的质量是由高校的专业结构与地方经济结构的匹配的程度以及学校教学水平决定的。本文以广西地区高校为例,探讨地方高校如何为区域中心城市提供与经济发展相匹配的人才,构建合理的高等教育空间布局,发展与广西千亿元产业和战略性新兴产业密切相关的学科和专业。The quality of the human resources colleges and universities supply for the regional development is determined by the extent of the match between the schools＇ specialty structure and the local economic struc- ture, and the schools＇ teaching quality. Taking the case of Guangxi＇s local colleges and universities, the cur- rent paper studies how the local institutions of higher education produce talents suited for the economic devel- opment of the major cities in the region, how a reasonable spatial layout of higher education should be created to offer disciplines and specialties closely related with the development of industries with over one hundred bil- lion yuan of output and emerging industries of strategic significance in Guangxi Province.
