摘　　要：3G时代最明显的特征就是能提供更快的数据传输速率,能同时传送声音(通话)及数据信息(电子邮件,即时通信等)。是wap与web的一种相结合趋势,势必引领精彩生活。无线个人网络(WPN)是这种异构体系结构中不可缺少的一部分。4G将是以数字宽带为主的高度自组织、自适应的网络,从而实现位置的无关性。The most obvious feature of 3G age is to provide a faster data transfer rate. It can simultaneously transmit voice （call） and data （email, instant communication etc.） and is a trend of the combination of wap and web which is bound to lead a wonderful life. WPN is an indispensable part of this heterogeneous system. 4G will be a highly self-organized and self-adaptive network which is mainly digital broadband so as to achieve the independence of position.
