摘　　要：简述未来的第三代移动通信网ＩＭＴ２０００准备提供高速数据业务的基本设想，即在移动核心网中加设“通用分组无线电业务”，以便连往Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ。进而说明空中接口倾向于使用“宽带码分多址”和“时分双工”的制式，而在无线电接入网中加设“无线电网络控制器”，该控制器与基台之间则利用异步转移模式及其新型适配层的交换技术和信令规约。The paper begins with the fundermental concept that the forthcoming third generation mobile communication network IMT 2000 will provide high bit rate data services by installing GPRS in the mobile core network to get connect to Internet.Then it describes the tendency of using W CDMA and TDD for the air interface.RNC's are installed in the radio access network.ATM /ALL2 are used between RNC's and base stations.
